Pt. is a 60 year-old Caucasian female who underwent laparascopic gastric bypass surgery back in 2009 and lost about 120 pounds. Her highest weight was 253 pounds and her preop weight was 140 pounds. She complained of hanging, loose skin of her lower abdomen as well as mons ptosis that prohibited her from fitting into normal clothing. She also had abdominal rolls and a large abdominal pannus beneath which she suffered chronic rashes. She had been at a stable weight for the past three years. She was a good candidate for removal of the hanging pannus (panniculectomy) with aesthetic abdominoplasty (rectus tightening & umbilical transposition).
